Academic Experience

I hold a first class Honours degree in Computer Science (Embedded Systems and Robotics) from the University of Essex. This contained considerable elements of security, C programming, software engineering, web development and networking. My dissertation involved the implementation of a wireless control system for a model railway.

For several years, I have been a tutor and teaching assistant for a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Lancaster University. These include Java programming, Embedded Systems and Web Technology as well as more practical courses on Linux and LaTeX. As tutor, I also assist students on an ad-hoc basis with related subjects including systems architecture, data structures, algorithms, networking and logical mathematics.
