LaTeX Course: Level 2

The Advanced LaTeX Course is for those about to begin writing up a thesis using LaTeX and is intended for those that have previously attended the beginners' course or have previous experience with the system.

UPDATE: There are six places currently left for SciTech faculty students.

VERY IMPORTANT:

You must first download and save the zip file to your H: drive via My Computer, not My Documents. Then extract it by right-clicking the icon and clicking 'extract all files'. Delete the zip file once you have done this to avoid confusion! Things will not work otherwise...

NB: TeXworks will not replace the bibliography with a new style unless you either (1) delete all the temp files and then rebuild or (2) select BibTex from the drop down, compile, then select pdfLaTeX+MakeIndex+BibTeX and compile.
